During ultrafiltration membrane screening with pressure difference on both sides of the membrane and ultrafiltration membrane as a filter medium, when stock solution flows through the membrane surface under certain pressure, only water and small molecular substances can flow through numerous micro-pores which are densely distributed on the surface of the ultrafiltration membrane to form permeate. However, substances in stock solution of which the volume is larger than the diameter of the micro-pores on the membrane surface are intercepted at the fluid inlet side of the membrane to form condensate for the purpose of purification, separation and condensation of the stock solution.
Application of ultrafiltration technology.
Early industrial ultrafiltration technology is applied for wastewater and sewage treatment. With the development of ultrafiltration technology, ultrafiltration technology has been applied in many fields at present, mainly including food industry, beverage industry, dairy industry, biological fermentation, bio-pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical chemical industry, biologics, traditional Chinese preparation, clinical medicine, printing and dyeing wastewater, food industry wastewater treatment, resource recovery and environment engineering.
